Offerings of love to Thee, Tara.
I sit comfortably with spine erect.
My right hand in Varada वरदमुद्रा mudra
and my left hand in Jñāna ज्ञान mudra.
Eyes closed - I see Tara with my inner eye
and chant Her mystic mantra:
Om Hrim Strim Hum Phat
ॐ ह्रीं स्त्रीं हुं फट्॥
Om Hreem Streem Hum Phat
Om is the mantra of deliverance,
Hrim is a mantra of purification & transformation,
Strim is the feminine nature,
Hum is the mantra of protection,
Phat destroys obstacles.
Meditate/chant for 5-20 minutes.
O Devi Tara,
Mother of peace and compassion
Goddess of Cosmic Wisdom
Shakti Divine.
Thou art beautifully brilliant, starry and white.
Thou enlighten my mind and calm my heart
uplifting my soul on the darkest night.
O, Tara,
Enlightened One
Star Goddess
Thou of 21 Embodiments of peace.
Encircle me with Thy Divine light.
Into my open hands, heart and mind flows
gracious blessings, harmony, protection, inner sight.
